Columbus Residence Burglarized, CPD Investigating

COLUMBUS - A Columbus residence was reportedly burglarized, leaving the owners with more than $750 in losses. Columbus Police say a TV ,a Playstation gaming system, and video games were taken from a residence on 17th Street. Police say the burglar appears to have entered the home through a screen window, with additional damage being dealt to a desk drawer. Police say the stolen goods were estimated at a $740 value, with about $50 in damage to the home. The burglary was called-in to police at 10:29 p.m. on Saturday, and reportedly occurred while the family was gone for the holidays. CPD ask anyone with information to call them at 402-564-3201.
