Columbus Man Booked in Butler County Jail for Possessing Brass Knuckles

DAVID CITY, Neb. - A Columbus man was arrested last month in Butler County after the sheriff says he found an illegal weapon on his person. 31-year-old Esteban Rodriguez is charged with felony possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and two misdemeanors: carrying a concealed weapon and driving under suspension. Records say Rodriguez was pulled over by Butler County Sheriff Marcus Siebken in mid-January after being observed speeding. Siebken found the gold brass knuckles in Rodriguez's pocket while searching him. Rodriguez is also accused of felony evidence tampering in Dodge County from an incident in 2017. His court date is March 1st in David City.
