Cause of Stenger Fire Still Unknown

COLUMBUS - The cause of a fire that burned down a Columbus business is still under investigation. The State Fire Marshall’s Office says they are still investigating the cause of the fire that burned down an entire building. The fire took place during the early morning hours of February 6th, and burned down the building that house Stenger Plumbing. Stenger Plumbing had been in Columbus for roughly a year before the fire took place. The building was located on the southwest corner of the 33rd Avenue viaduct, just off 8th Street. The Fire Marshall’s Office asks anyone who might have information about the fire to call the arson hotline at 1-888-WY-ARSON.
