Callaway Pioneer Picnic June 22-24

CALLAWAY—The annual Callaway Pioneer Picnic is set for this weekend with a packed weekend of activities.

Friday 6/24: The 7 Valleys Museum will be open as well as the swimming pool. Rodeo, street dance, thunder karaoke

Saturday 6/23: Color run at 8 a.m., sidewalk chalk, craft fair at the community center, 10:45 a.m. parade (9 a.m. lineup at the school). The theme for this year’s parade is favorite TV show or movie.

Zach Meyer helps organize the annual parade and says, “It’s great. We just encourage people to bring the kids, there’s always more candy than they can pick up. It’s always a great time.”

Also on Saturday: Baked potato bar at the community center, auto show at Morgan Park, bingo, ping-pong ball drop, train rides, dodge ball, kids races, CHS alumni reception, corn hole tournament, kids carnival at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan Park, CHS alumni banquet at the school, teen pool party, street dance

Sunday 6/24: 11 a.m. church in Morgan Park, kids carnival, Bingo, basketball, toad and turtle races
