Butler/Polk County Cropping Educator Takes New Job in California

DAVID CITY - Longtime Cropping Educator in Butler and Polk Counties, Michael Rethwisch, will be leaving at the end of the month, as he pursues a new job. Rethwisch is relocating to Blythe, California, where he has taken a job wit the University of California Cooperative Extension, which begins in November, says a release. Rethwisch's current position is with the University of Nebraska Extension office. There will be an open house and reception for Rethwisch on Monday, October 30th, at 3 p.m. in the Butler County Event Center, says a message from the extension office. The extension office says greetings and notes can be sent to Michael Rethwisch, Butler County Extension, 451 N 5^thStreet, David City NE 68632. The Butler County Chamber of Commerce wished Rethwisch best of luck with his future endeavors.
