Butler County Sheriffs Office Nets Several Arrests During Latest Drinking & Driving Effort

DAVID CITY, Neb. - The Butler County Sheriffs Office made several arrests and issued over a dozen citations during their latest 'You Drink, You Drive, You Lose' campaign. The sheriffs office says they arrested one person for DUI, another for a separate felony citation, two driving under suspension tickets and issued 10 speeding tickets and 12 citations for drug, vehicle or other offenses. The sheriffs office issued 26 total tickets with 56 vehicle contacts during the campaign that ran during much of August and September. The sheriffs office was able to fund the extra overtime, thanks to a grant from the Highway Safety Office.
