Broken Bow Sweeps Basketball Doubleheader with Ainsworth

The Broken Bow girls basketball team picked up its second win of the season Friday night by defeating Ainsworth 45-29. Broken Bow led 24-19 in the 3rd quarter then went on a 15-2 run to close out the quarter and take control of the game. Broken Bow’s Jory Lowe led all scorers with 13 points. Eleven of the thirteen coming in the second half. Broken Bow is now 2-3 on the season.

The Broken Bow boys improved to 4-0 after a 66-47 win over the Bulldogs. Broken Bow led by 9 at half and outscored Ainsworth 36-26 in the second half. Padyn Borders led 5 players in double figures for the Indians. Boders finished with 17, Josh Harvey had 15, while Tanner Linn, Kevin Linn and Grayson Garey each finished with 10.

The Broken Bow boys and girls teams will play at St. Paul Saturday (12/16) night.
