BROKEN BOW— The Broken Speech Team was on the road Tuesday, March 10 in Valentine to compete in the Southwest Conference Speech Meet. The team finished the meet with ten competitors in the top five along eight students receiving superior ratings.
Dani Osmond & Isak Chancellor – 3rd in duet
Anna Lindstrom – 2nd in serious
Jake Smallcomb – 4th in extemporaneous
Ava Williams – 4th in persuasive
Kate Holcomb, Minji Haynes, Rayelee Smith, Chad Schmit, & Jake Smallcomb – 6th in OID
Isela Tercero, Abby Flint, Ava Williams, Gillian Sherbeck, & Alex Wenquist – 4th in OID
Superiors went to Minji Haynes, Buddy Osmond (2), Corra Harrold, Isela Tercero, Dani Osmond, Abby Flint, and Kate Holcomb.
The Broken Bow Speech Team is scheduled to be back in action next week for district competition in Minden with a chance to compete at state.
