BROKEN BOW— KCNI/KBBN Radio is proud to announce that KCNI (96.3 FM; 1280AM) will be broadcasting live the District 25 Broken Bow School Board debate on Thursday, October 18 at 7 P.M. at the Broken Bow Municipal Building. Jay Ferris from Nebraska Farm Bureau in Lincoln will serve as Moderator. Each candidate will draw a number which will determine their seat position. The candidate in the first seat will answer the first questions followed by candidate two, three, etc. The second candidate will lead off the second question with the others responding in order.
The candidates will begin the evening by giving a two minute biography/personal introduction. This will then be followed by the debate in which each candidate will receive a two minute time limit to answer each question. At the end of the debate, each candidate will be given two minutes to address the voters on anything that they feel is important and needs to be communicated.
During the live debate, no public questions will be taken. After the debate, there will be a meet-and-greet where the public is encouraged to talk with the candidates.
