Broken Bow School Board Tax Request Planning To Be Same As Past Two Years: $8.6 Million

BROKEN BOW— The Broken Bow School Board held their work session on Monday, September 9 with the topic of setting the 2019-2020 budget. For the third straight year, the school board will be asking for the same amount of tax payer money as last year at $8,614,099.00.

Superintendent Darren Tobey was confident that expenses would also be down next year which could allow for extra money that could be applied to the bond fund in hopes of paying it off two years early, the preschool project, or other projects that might be needed.

The notice for the special hearing on the tax request and the budget notice can be found below. If anyone has any questions please contact Broken Bow Public Schools or members of the Broken Bow School Board.

A vote on the tax request and budget will take place on September 16 at 7:30 PM.
