The Broken Bow Lady Indians finished third at the SWC Volleyball tournament on Saturday (10/21). Broken Bow knocked off the #3 seed McCook in the first round 25-22, 25-15. In the semifinals, Gothenburg def. Broken Bow in straight sets. Gothenburg won the opening set 25-15. In the second set, Broken Bow had 2 opportunities to win the set at 24-22 but Gothenburg was able to tie the set at 24 and eventually close it out 28-26. Broken Bow would meet Ogallala in the 3rd place consolation match. Ogallala, the top seed, lost to Minden in the semi’s 20-25, 25-18, 20-25. Bow took the opening set from Ogallala 25-19 then dropped the 2nd 15-25. In the third, Broken Bow took control and closed out the match 25-15. Broken Bow is now 16-10 on the season. Minden def.
