It was another strong showing for the Broken Bow girls golf team on Tuesday (9/19) as they participated at the Valentine Invitational. Broken Bow won the team championship by shooting a team total 371. That was 4 shots better than Valentine who finished 2nd with a 375. O’Neill was 3rd with a 403. Sherridan Bancroft of Valentine was the individual champion as she carded the low round of 83. Broken Bow placed 4 golfers in the top ten. Kailey Johnson led the way finishing in 2nd with an 85. Gracie Williams was 4th with a 92 ; Joelle Sanger placed 6th with a 94 ; Madison Jackson was 8th with a 100 which was also a personal best. Other scores for Broken Bow included : Graycee Oeltjen – 105 (personal best) ; Mahala Sanchez – 113.
