Broken Bow girls golf runner-up at SWC

The Broken Bow girls golf team was the runner-up at the Southwest Conference girls golf tournament in Valentine on Thursday. Ogallala won the team championship with a team total 334. Broken Bow was second with a 366 and McCook was third with a 373. Harley Hiltibrand of Ogallala was the individual champion with a low round of 73. Broken Bow had 5 medalists on the day. Kailey Johnson and Gracie Williams led the way for Broken Bow as each shot an 87. Johnson was 7th and Williams was 8th. Graycee Oeltjen and Joelle Sanger each finished with a 96 and placed 13th and 14th respectively. Madison Jackson placed 15th with a 98. Mahala Sanchez finished with a 118. Kailey Johnson and Gracie Williams were first team all conference. Joelle Sanger, Madison Jackson, and Graycee Oeltjen were 3rd team all conference. The Lady Indians will now prepare for the C-4 District tournament which will take place Monday (10/2) at the Cozad Country Club.
