Broken Bow girls golf places second at Holdrege

The Broken Bow girls golf team participated at the Holdrege Invitational yesterday (9/21). It was an exciting team race as 2 shots separated the top 3 teams. Aurora won the team title with a 398 which was one shot better than Broken Bow who finished 2nd with a 399 and Hastings was third with a 400. Danica Badura of Aurora and Anna Cafferty of Hastings tied for the low round of the day with an 86 with Badura winning in a playoff. Kailey Johnson led the way for Broken Bow as she carded a team low 94 which was good for 6th place on the day. Gracie Williams finished 8th with a 97, Joelle Sanger finished 17th with a 103, and Madison Jackson was 19th with a 105. Mahala Sanchez finished with a 123 for the Lady Indians.
