BROKEN BOW–If you didn’t get enough of the craziness on Thursday, fear not because the fun continues throughout the weekend!

Thursday–Sunday: DC Lynch Carnival at the Custer County Fairgrounds from 6-11 p.m.

Friday, July 12: *Many businesses will continue with Crazy Days sales

*Custer Public Power District (CPPD) celebrating 75 years of serving rural Nebraska by having bucket truck rides and a look at lineman’s equipment from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., hot work demonstrations at 10 and 12:30, and PowerTown at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

*Live Music at Kinkaider Brewing Company 8-11 p.m.

*Broken Bow Alumni Kick-Off Event at the Red Barn 4-7 p.m.

Saturday, July 13: *Custer Public Power District hosting Hurts Emergency Donut Vehicle from Lincoln at the CPPD office, mobile STEM Lab from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

*The Crazy Days 5K/10K Dash will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Broken Bow United Methodist Church parking lot. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

*Hunters for Youth Crazy Days Kids Fishing Event at Melham Pond 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

*Broken Bow All-Alumni Luncheon at 12 p.m. at the high school (click here to see all the details at the Broken Bow All-Alumni Weekend)

*7th Annual Custer County Tractor Ride (click here for more) with registration beginning at 7 a.m.

*Live Music at Kinkaider Brewing Company 8-11 p.m.

Sunday, July 14: Coed Grass Volleyball Tournament at 9 a.m. at Melham Soccer Fields

Thursday morning kicked off with many businesses opening their doors and sidewalk sales as early as 7 a.m.  KCNI/KBBN had the opportunity to visit with 21 businesses during Thursday’s Get Up and Go Breakfast Show!

Mel Shepherd and Perfect Third featuring Alex Wenquist, Weston Walz, and Graycee Oeltjen performed live music in the city square on Thursday evening following a day of great sales, Market on the Square, a Teammates/Rotary sidewalk chalk contest, First Presbyterian Church Hot Dog Feed, and Adventures in Color Art Show hosted by the Wild Rose Gallery.
