Broken Bow City-Wide Clean-Up Day

BROKEN BOW–In honor of Earth Day this weekend, the city of Broken Bow is hosting a city-wide clean-up day to help keep our community beautiful by encouraging residents to do their spring cleaning on Saturday, April 21.

Free Collection Site between Tomahawk Park and Paul Brown Field from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Acceptable items include Brick, lawn mowers, old bicycles, etc., miscellaneous metal, tires, automotive batteries, appliances (must be tagged and drained)

NO paint, motor oil, lawn/garden chemicals, or household waste

Thanks to Myers Iron Salvage and Myers Roll-Offs for providing the roll-offs

Recycling Trailers are located year round at the corner of South 10th Avenue and South B Street, and at the Grocery Kart.

Tree Dump open for FREE on April 21 and April 28
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Acceptable materials include trees, branches, wood pallets, untreated lumber, unpainted lumber, grass clippings, leaves, yard waste, garden waste, flowers, bushes, and clean concrete (no rebar or wire mesh in the concrete)

In addition, the Goodwill Truck will be in town April 23-27 in the Schmick’s parking lot
Acceptable items include old computers (working or broken), clothing, furniture, small appliances (need to be working)
