Broken Bow City Council held meeting on Tuesday, August 22

The Custer County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, July 25 at 9am in the Supervisors room in the courthouse.

A few agenda items include a semi-annual statement by County Treasurer Sheri Bryant, discussion of the child support agreement with Amy Oxford, and a discussion with the Sargent Airport Inter-local Agreement. Scott Reynolds with the  Custer County Ag Society will be present to make a budget request and the Ag Society is also requesting a special designated liquor license for the Mid States Finals.

Two public hearings will be held to discuss the possible relinquishing of Roads #1246 and #1543 to the Custer Township. The Seven Valley and Custer County Historical Societies will be making a request and Emergency Manager Mark Rempe will be discussing the LLNRD Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The agenda is kept continuously current and open for public inspection in the office of the County Clerk. The Board of Supervisors may go into Executive Session on any issue if the need arises.

At noon on Tuesday, the Broken Bow City Council will hold a meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers. Public Hearings and readings will take place for Ordinances 1165 Premier Storage LLC Annexation, Ordinance 1166 Premier First Subdivision, and Ordinance 1167 Opportunity Land Investments Annexation. The council may or may not vote to approve the ordinances.

New business includes discussion of blocking off Memorial Drive on September 30 for a Color Run and blocking off streets for the Custer County Parade this Saturday. SDL applications will be discussed for Broken Bow Legends Neighborhood Grill and Kinkaider Brewing Company.
