Beatrice Mayor Says He’ll Seek Reelection

BEATRICE – Beatrice Mayor Stan Wirth says he’ll seek a second term, as the city’s mayor. [audio mp3="http://media3.floodradio.com/columbus/2018/01/Wirth-Running1.mp3"][/audio] :14                  “the last term” Mayor Wirth announced his intentions Thursday morning, on KWBE’s Ask the Mayor program.   The mayoral position and four of eight Beatrice City Council seats have terms expiring at the end of this year. Wirth says the first time he ran and was elected as mayor, he spent time during the campaign meeting with city department heads and getting familiar with operations of the city.
