BBPD Urging Residents To Lock Vehicles As Investigations Continue Into Break-Ins

The Broken Bow Police Department has been investigating vehicle break-ins over the last several months. If the vehicles are locked and valuables are in sight, the suspects are breaking out windows to get to the items.

BBPD has also discovered that some items of lesser value have been stolen from unlocked vehicles and not reported to the police department. Sergeant Shane Fiorelli would like to stress the importance of making sure vehicles are being locked when they are not in use. Also, don’t leave any valuable property in your vehicles, such as wallets, purses, money, cell phones, computers, and firearms.

Some suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
