Authorities Say They Recovered a Vehicle Involved in Dickie Doodles Burglary

COLUMBUS, Neb. - Platte County Sheriff officials say they have recovered a vehicle involved in an early morning burglary, but are still searching for the people involved. The sheriff's office posted a photo earlier in the day of the Chevy pickup that left Dickie Doodles gas station around 2:45 a.m. on Thursday. following an alleged burglary. The office says the burglars loaded a large safe from the gas station into the bed of the truck and then fled northbound on E. 29th Ave. Sheriff officials have only confirmed that they found the truck and are still seeking information about the burglary.
