At Least 5 Injured in Platte County Accidents

PLATTE COUNTY - At least 5 people were injured in two separate Platte County accidents over the weekend, reported officials. The sheriff's office responded to an injury accident at the Highway 81/91 intersection on Friday at 1:10 p.m. The office reported that 3 people were transported from the accident and both vehicles involved were totaled. On Saturday, the sheriff's office says an accident near 55th Avenue resulted in multiple people being transported from the scene. One vehicle suffered $10,000 in damage and the other suffered $6,000 in damage, and the accident was called in at approximately 12:48 p.m., says the sheriff's office.
