The Omaha World Herald has released its top ten rankings for this week. There were no changes to the D1 ratings from a week ago. South Loup remains at #3 this week following their win over Ainsworth Friday (65-29). The Bobcats will host 1-1 Bertrand this Friday night. The Burwell Longhorns are still rated #7. Burwell had the week off last week and will play at 1-1 Palmer on Friday night. The D2 poll also remained similar to last week’s ratings. The only change was Giltner entering the poll at #10. The Wolves of Twin Loup remain #3 following their win over Anselmo-Merna last week. Twin Loup will host Stuart this week. The Mullen Broncos are rated #6. Mullen defeated Sandhills/Thedford last week. The Broncos will host Anselmo-Merna this Friday night with the game being broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. In Class C2, the Arcadia-Loup City Rebels enter the OWH ratings at #10. ALC edged previously top ten rated Valentine 16-14 last Friday and are now 2-0 on the season. The Rebels will be at Sandy Creek this week. The top rated teams in each class are as follows : Class A – Omaha Burke ; Class B – Elkhorn South ; Class C1 – David City Aquinas ; Class C2 – Centennial ; Class D1 – Creighton ; Class D2 – Falls City Sacred Heart ; Six Man – Riverside.
