Arcadia’s 67th Annual Fall Festival Labor Day Weekend

ARCADIA–Sixty-seven years later and still going strong is the annual fun-filled weekend that is the Arcadia Fall Festival. This year’s festivities are scheduled for Labor Day weekend September 4, 5, and 6, sponsored by the Sons of the American Legion Post #251.

Saturday, September 4
Sand Volleyball at Riverside Park at 9 a.m.
Pinochle Tourney at the Community Center at 9 a.m.
FFA Alumni Craft/Vendor Show at Arcadia Public School 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Vote for Miss Fall Festival in front of the Legion 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration for RKD Thunder Poker Run 11-11:45 a.m.
Calcutta for Ranch Rodeo 12:30 p.m.
Sons of the American Legion BBQ Cookoff at Riverside Park 1 p.m.
Ranch Rodeo at Ball Park 1 p.m. followed by bronc riding/pony riding
Live Music at Lucky’s Tavern on Saturday night

Sunday, September 5
Pancake Feed at Community Building 8 a.m. to Noon
Vote for Miss Fall Festival in front of the Legion 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Community Worship at Ball Park 10 a.m.
Lucky’s Tavern Cornhole Tournament 12 p.m.
Kids Games and Races at the Ball Park 1 p.m.
Big Demolition Derby at the Ball Park 2 p.m. ($8 general admission, $20 for pit pass, $40 to enter car)

Monday, September 6 (Labor Day)
Fall Festival parade with theme “Now That’s What Makes Me Smile” 10:30 a.m.
Parade Judging at 9:30 a.m., Crowning of Miss Fall Festival after the parade, BBQ dinner served after the parade at the Legion Club
