Apartment Burglar with Knife, Drugs Headed to District Court

COLUMBUS - An alleged apartment burglary, who was carrying a weapon and drugs, is head to District Court in Platte County. Emil Staroscik, 23, of Columbus, is facing two felony charges for burglary and possession of a controlled substance, says court records. Staroscik allegedly broke into an apartment on 27th Avenue, with an 8-inch knife and THC, back in August of this year, say court documents. Staroscik is scheduled for arraignment in Platte County District Court on Friday.
