Ansley Muddy Creek Celebration June 24-26, 2022

ANSLEY–The small community of Ansley is Strong for a Small Town and has been hosting the Muddy Creek Celebration for 135 years!

The annual weekend festivities kick off on Friday night with fun for the whole family.

Muddy Creek Celebration Treasurer Melissa Schulte said she is excited to bring back the traditional events like the fishing tournament and parade on Saturday, but also looks forward to the new events like axe throwing, a Glow Walk/Run and Dance on Friday night, and even a stilt-walking juggler during the Main Street carnival on Friday.

“Ansley is a small town, it’s kind of a drive-by town on the highway,” Schulte told KCNI/KBBN. “We’ve been doing this for quite a long time and we’re still every year getting new visitors coming in!”
