ANSLEY— It was a perfect day to present the GROW Award to Ansley Lumber and Supply on Wednesday, December 4. The award, presented by the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce, was given to Ansley Lumber and Supply for their hard work and dedication to improving the community and offering exceptional products and services.

According to co-owner Brian Beaumont, Ansley Lumber and Supply first opened their doors approximately four years ago after Brian and his wife Heidi purchased the lumber yard in Ansley.

About a year later, the building across the street was purchased because of the location and also for the cement floor which allowed a forklift to be used in the building. Brian told KCNI/KBBN that the front of the building was something they had wanted to change, which included developing it into a design center.

“If you want to build a new home, are thinking about re-modeling the home you have, or are thinking of adding on you can come in [to the design center] and see cabinets, windows, doors, shingles, that type of stuff and put your hands on it,” said Brian Beaumont.

Along with the GROW Award presentation, Ansley Lumber and Supply also held an open house, complete with food, treats, drinks, and vendors. If you were unable to attend the open house, the design center is located at 720 Main St. in Ansley.

“We’re very appreciative of our customers and our vendors. Glad everybody could come down and enjoy this day with us,” said Brian.
