Tammy Burnett of the Fubar and Grill in Anselmo said the weekend will be a fun, laid back weekend for people of all ages. She said the patrons are great and appreciates everyone helping behind the scenes to put on Big Sky.
“A lot for the kids to do; keep the kids entertained and the parents are happy,” Burnett said.
Friday 6/22: Free hot dog feed at the softball field at 5 p.m., hosted by the Anselmo-Merna dance team, playground blowups until 9 p.m. at the fire hall, and karaoke at Fubar.
Saturday 6/23: Free pancake feed at the fire hall sponsored by the A-M school board, 11 a.m. parade (9 a.m. lineup at the old school yard), lunch served by the United Methodist women, coed softball tournament, horseshoes, “beach/water activities,” bingo, kids’ races, turtle races, firemen BBQ and watermelon feed, street dance, and a 2 a.m. breakfast served at the fire hall by the firemen wives.
On Sunday, the party continues with the coed softball tournament, sand volleyball, and the 1 p.m. rodeo.
