Anselmo-Merna Public Schools Announces Registration Expo

Anselmo-Merna Public School is pleased to announce the first-ever Registration Expo! This expo is for current 8th through 11th-grade students. This event will be hosted in the high school gymnasium on February 11th at 6:45 pm. Junior high and high school Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held the same day starting at 1:30 pm and concluding at 6:40 pm.

At this expo, parents and students will have the opportunity to hear about high school credit and graduation requirements, AP/Dual credit college courses as well as credit transfer to colleges and universities, department introductions of staff members teaching high school courses, and a gallery walk for parents and students to meet and discuss course offerings with teachers.

A-M will also be serving pizza for students and their families in attendance.  At the conclusion of the night, students who attend will have a complete course schedule for the 2021-2022 school year.

The purpose of this event is to provide students and their families with an opportunity to learn about courses available as well as make informed decisions educationally. A-M firmly believes that partnering together in a child’s education between school and home creates the most dynamic, effective environment in which Anselmo-Merna students can be successful. This expo provides this important partnership.

Please visit the district website (www.a-mps.org), or visit their Facebook page for a link to register for the event. A-M appreciate your commitment to attending. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our main office (308-643-2224) for any further information. The staff looks forward to seeing you on February 11th!
