BROKEN BOW – A semi accident near Broken Bow caused manure to cover the roadway, leaving dozens of firefighters to clean up the mess.
The accident was Friday afternoon around 15 miles north of Broken Bow. It appeared to have involved a semi-trailer hauling manure colliding with another semi, causing it to spill onto the intersection of Sargent Road and Gates Country Road.
There were no injuries in the accident.
Sargent Fire and Rescue responded to the accident and also received help from Anselmo Fire and Broken Bow Fire who brought several water tankers to help clean off the road.
