$900 Donated to Custer County Non Profits on Friday

The 4 R County “Win and Pay it Forward” promotion had another gathering on Friday afternoon. The goal this time? Have three drawings to donate $300 to three different Custer County non profits.

A good crowd was on hand when the drawings started at 12:15 at Grocery Kart in Broken Bow. An ace won the high card draw the first two times, with a king securing the win in the third drawing.

The three winners chose a non profit organization they wanted the money to go to as follows:

The three November 4 R County winners (left to right). Megan Crawford, Julie Toline, and Vicki Hendrickson.

Megan Crawford- Super Kids Club Inc.
Vicki Hendrickson- Custer County Foundation
Julie Toline- Broken Bow Backpack Program

Those who didn’t win the opportunity to choose where the money was donated were treated to giveaways for themselves thanks to sponsoring businesses.

If you haven’t made it to a 4 R County gathering yet this year, don’t worry. The organizers of the charity-driven promotion are looking at having an extra special gathering with even more money given away next month in December. No matter where the promotion is held, residents from all over Custer County are invited to attend and try to pay forward funds for a non profit they want to support.
