6th Annual Custer County Ag Society Winter Ball January 29

The Custer County Ag Society will hold the 6th Annual Winter Ball on Saturday, January 29 at the One Box Convention Center in Broken Bow. The evening of activities kicks off at 5:30 PM with social hour and bidding will open on the silent auction items. Dinner will be served at 6:30 with the live auction to follow. Victory Underground will conclude the evening with musical entertainment until 1 AM.

According to Fairgrounds Administrator Michelle Nelson, funds raised this year will be used toward making the grandstands on the south side of Trotter Arena ADA compliant. While on the GetUp And Go Breakfast Show, Nelson said this has been an issue that has plagued the ground for a number of years. She noted there is a lot of work to do with the grandstands and every dollar raised during the Ball will help with the cost of the project.

Some of the live and silent auction items include guided hunts, a golfing package, cowhide rug, a multitude of different gift baskets, and they also be auctioning off chances to win a couple of firearms.

This year’s meal will be a prime rib, baked potato, tossed salad, vegetable, dinner roll, and dessert. Those interested in additional information or to purchase tickets are encouraged to contact Michelle Nelson at (308) 870-2493 or the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce at (308) 872-5691.
