5+ Miles Of Ryno Road To Be Milled Beginning Monday In Preparation For New Asphalt

Multiple Custer County road improvement projects are soon to get underway including the just over five-mile asphalt construction project on Ryno Road. The project includes asphalt work, shoulder construction, and seeding. The Custer County Highway Department will begin grinding the road on Monday, April 18 which will create a loose, gravel-like surface.

The road with the loose surface will remain in this condition for several weeks until the asphalt work begins in mid-July by Paulsen Inc. of Cozad. Motorists are encouraged to reduce their speeds on the road and to pay extra attention during the different phases of construction.
