BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow Alumni Association will be hosting the latest incarnation of their alumni weekend Friday and Saturday, July 8 and 9.
The event will take place at the One Box Convention Center, and will be open to all alumni of Broken Bow High School, and the classes honored will be those whose year ends in 2 or 7.
Friday offers the opportunity for alums from all classes to purchase tickets for the luncheon on Saturday as well as catch up over snacks and a cash bar. In a statement, the association expressed the desire that all interested in Saturday’s activity purchase a ticket so they can keep current contact information for attending alumni.
Saturday holds the most activity for the weekend, with the aforementioned noon luncheon and a chance for all alumni to walk the halls of both the middle and high school buildings between 2 and 4 p.m.
The Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented during the lunch, and a member of one of the honored classes will speak. This year’s Distinguished Alumni are Charlene Hirsch, class of 1946, and Ronald Talbot, class of 1962.
