2 Injured in Motorcycle Accident on 11th Street

COLUMBUS - Two people were reported injured after a motorcycle attempted to avoid hitting another vehicle on 11th Street. Columbus Police reports say a 53-year-old man was driving a 2015 Harley Davidson eastbound on 11th Street. When the Harley Davidson entered the intersection at 25th Avenue, a northbound vehicle reportedly pulled out in front of the motorcycle, causing the driver to tip the Harley to the ground to avoid an accident, says CPD reports. The driver of the northbound vehicle was cited for failure to yield to the right of way. The Harley suffered $3,500 in damage, and the driver of the Harley, as well as a 38-year-old woman, were injured. The woman was treated at Columbus Community Hospital. The accident took place at approximately 1:16 a.m. early Saturday morning.
