1 Injured After 19th Street Collision

COLUMBUS - Columbus Police reports say one peson was injured after a vehicle slid on the snow packed road into the path of a minivan. CPD reports say a 27-year-old woman was heading southbound in a 2005 Lincoln Sedan on 35th Avenue, when she reportedly attempted to stop at a stop sign. The woman told police that because of the slick conditions, she slid onto 19th Street, into the path of a westbound 2009 Toyota Minivan. The 44-year-old woman driving the minivan was reportedly injured in the accident, but was not transported to the hospital says reports. The sedan suffered an estimated $1,800 in damage, and the minivan suffered an estimated $1,100 in damage, says reports. Neither driver was cited in the accident, which occurred at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, says CPD.
