Nebraska wrestling wins eight of 10 matches to defeat Rutgers

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Nebraska, ranked ninth in the USA Today/NWCA Coaches poll, won eight of 10 matches in cruising to a 31-9 dual win over No. 18 Rutgers on Friday night.

Nebraska, which won the final six matches after trailing 9-8, earned bonus points in five of its wins.

Taylor Venz recorded a first-period pin the 184-pound match, while Zeke Moisey (125), CJ Red (141), Mikey Labriola (174) and Eric Schultz (197) all won by major decision.

Nebraska returns home to face third-ranked Iowa on Sunday at noon at the Devaney Center.
