MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota completed its three-game Big Ten sweep of Nebraska on Sunday with a 5-1 victory.
The Gophers (27-14, 10-3 Big 10) outscored Nebraska 21-2 over the three games. The Huskers (30-17, 8-8) managed only three hits off Minnesota ace Amber Fiser. One of those was a solo home run by Nebraska pitcher Kaylan Jablonski.
Minnesota hit two home runs as Kendyl Lindaman and Maddie Houlihan connected for the second straight game.
Jablonski (21-11) gave up six hits and four earned runs as she was tagged with the loss.
The Huskers are scheduled to host a three-game series with Wisconsin beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday. These will be the last three home games of the season.
