LINCOLN — Nebraska went 1-1 as a ranked team last week, and that was good enough to stay in one major poll.

After a loss to Minnesota and a win over Creighton, the Huskers came in at No. 25 in the USA Today coaches poll but were bumped from the No. 24 ranking in the AP poll they held last week. Nebraska is just on the outside looking in with 115 votes, just three behind No. 25 Syracuse.

Nebraska was up 10 points over Minnesota on the road with about nine minutes left but allowed 20 points in the final five minutes and lost 85-78. They responded by shooting over 50 percent from 3-point range and beating Creighton 94-75 on Saturday night.

The Huskers will now have an eight-day break before playing Oklahoma State in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Dec. 16.
