The Nebraska baseball team will wrap up its 2021 regular season this weekend when they host Michigan for a three game series at Haymarket Park in Lincoln. It has been a great season for the Huskers this year. Nebraska is currently on an eight game winning streak which includes going undefeated against Indiana and Ohio State at the Indiana pod last weekend which helped the Huskers secure the Big Ten regular season championship and secure at automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA baseball tournament. Head coach Will Bolt met with the media on Wednesday and said even though Nebraska has already wrapped up the Big Ten title, there is still plenty of motivation for this weekend’s series.
Since it is the final home series of the season, coach Bolt said they will plan to honor the players who have been in the program for 4-5 years.
The Nebraska / Michigan series will be played Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with all games scheduled for a noon start time. Provided there are no interruptions due to weather, the Saturday and Sunday games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM.
