Nebraska Baseball Looks to Rebound as They Face Indiana and Rutgers this Weekend

The Nebraska baseball team will look to bounce back this weekend after being swept by Rutgers in a three game series at home.  After losing three in a row, the Huskers have fallen out of first place in the Big Ten standings.  Nebraska is now 20-10 on the season and sit a half game behind both Michigan and Indiana who are tied for first with identical 20-9 records.  The Huskers travel to New Jersey this weekend where they will face first place Indiana for two games and get a rematch with Rutgers for two games.

Coach Will Bolt visited with the media on Wednesday and said he expects “his guys” to bounce back after the disappointment of last weekend.

 

This weekend’s schedule has Nebraska vs Indiana on Saturday at 2 p.m.  Nebraska vs Indiana on Sunday at 10 a.m.  Nebraska vs Rutgers on Sunday at 2 p.m.  Nebraska vs Rutgers on Monday at 10 a.m.

Saturday’s game against Indiana will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM with coverage on the Huskers Sports Network beginning at 1:30 p.m.
