Nebraska offensive coordinator and receivers coach Matt Lubick joined host Greg Sharpe of the Huskers Sports Network during the Sports Nightly program Wednesday evening. Lubick enters his second season as a member of the Nebraska football coaching staff. Lubick said that he has been pleased with the progress of Nebraska’s group of receivers and how they performed during spring practice.
Among the newcomers to Nebraska’s group of receivers is Samori Toure a transfer from the University of Montana. Lubick talked about how the connection was made that led Toure to choose Nebraska coming out of the transfer portal.
Nebraska begins its season August 28th on the road against Big Ten West rival Illinois. All Husker games will again be broadcast this season on KBBN 95.3 FM proud to be an affiliate of the Husker Sports Network.
