Wide receiver Stanley Morgan confirmed late Wednesday night that he will be staying in school for his senior season.

In 2017, the junior wideout had 61 receptions for 10 touchdowns and a school-record 986 receiving yards. In the final game of the season, Morgan surpassed Johnny Rodgers’ 1972 single-season mark.

Morgan has 1,743 receiving yards in his Husker career, sixth in school history.

Morgan’s return means new coach Scott Frost will keep one of Nebraska’s most productive offensive players from 2017. Nebraska’s already lost quarterback Tanner Lee and offensive tackle Nick Gates to the NFL draft.
