LINCOLN — Nebraska earned seven event titles Friday on the first day of the Graduate Classic.
Isaiah Griffith won the men’s long jump with an indoor personal best of 24-7-3/4 feet and Raynesha Lewis won the women’s long jump with a personal-best jump of 19-1-1/4.
The Huskers also won five track events. Ashleigh Carr won the 800 meters with a time of 2:18.01 and Ty Moss won the men’s 800 meters in 1:53.54. Nebraska also swept the 1,000 meters races, with Emma Bresser winning the women’s event in 3:01.67 and Moujtaba Mohammed winning the men’s in 2:30.98.
Judi Jones won the mile with a personal-best 5:05.42.
The meet continues at noon Saturday.
