Husker wrestling earns bonus points in eight matches, upends Terrapins

LINCOLN — Nebraska earned bonus points in eight matches Sunday as the Huskers rolled to a 48-3 win over Maryland at the Devaney Center.

The Huskers got pins from Isaiah White at 165 pounds, Jason Renteria at 133, CJ Red at 141 and Colton McCrystal at 149. Taylor Venz (184) had a technical fall, and Eric Schultz (197) won by major decision. Maryland also had two open weights.

Nebraska, which improves to 1-1 in Big Ten duals, returns to action Friday at home against Purdue.
