Four Husker football players ticketed after loud party in Lincoln

Four Husker football players were ticketed after authorities went to their home to break up a loud party with underage guests.

Tony Butler, Boe Wilson, Jack Stoll and Matt Farniok were ticketed on suspicion of hosting a disorderly party, Lincoln police officials said.

According to a police report, guests were inside and outside a home on the 1400 block of Makers Street, and it appeared that some attendees were underage, police said. The party was reported to police as being loud and wild between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday.

Butler, Wilson, Stoll and Farniok are all 21, according to the report. They were ticketed and released.

All four are juniors, according to the Husker roster.

“The Athletic Department is aware of the incident, but does not have any additional comment,” Keith Mann, a spokesman for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Athletic Department, said in a statement.
