Former Husker Quarterback Noah Vedral to Transfer to Rutgers

Former Husker Quarterback Noah Vedral announced earlier that he would enter the tranfer portal and now has announced that he will transfer to play for Rutgers.  According to the Omaha World Herald, the Wahoo Neumann graduate announced his plan to play for the Big Ten school on Wednesday.

Vedral will play for coach Greg Schiano who will return to the school for his second stint as head coach.  It was reported that Vedral had a variety of opportunities including interest from Northern Illinois, Utah State, Boise State, and others.

Last season, Vedral filled in for injured Adrian Martinez and started two games for Nebraska.  Over the course of the season, Vedral completed 34 of 52 passes for 418 yards and rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns.
