Nebraska men’s basketball guard Dalano Banton has declared himself eligible for the NBA draft. Banton made the announcement on Twitter Monday morning. He would have the option to return to Nebraska if he withdraws his name from draft consideration by July and retain his collegiate eligibility. According to the Omaha World Herald, the Nebraska basketball program was aware Banton would be making the announcement. A native of Toronto, Banton sat out the 2019-20 season after transferring from Western Kentucky, then averaged 9.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists last season for the Huskers and started 22 of 27 games.
