FREMONT – The Islander volleyball team is back on the winning track.
Grand Island traveled to Fremont on Tuesday and swept the Tigers 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-16).
Sydney Wald and Alexa Blasé posted double-digit kills with 13 and 10 respectively while Sam Armstrong added nine.
Katie Ellis had 36 assists and led the team with two ace serves.
Haleigh Hoos paced the Islanders with 19 digs while Wald added 16.
The Islanders will next head to the LPS Classic this weekend.
