Woman pleads not guilty to Nebraska Panhandle slaying

CHAPPELL, NE (AP) – A woman accused of stabbing to death a man in the Nebraska Panhandle has pleaded not guilty.

Deuel County District Court records say 49-year-old Susan Glenn entered the plea Monday. The charge first-degree murder. Her next court hearing is scheduled for June 3rd.

She’s accused of killing Robert Mick in January outside a mobile home in Chappell. The court records say a witness who was outside the home talking to Mick was calling 911 when Glenn came out of the residence, stabbed Mick and fled in her car. He died four days later.

The records say Glenn’s acknowledged to investigators that she stabbed Mick.
