OMAHA, NE (News Channel Nebraska) – The National Service reports that a significant winter storm is possible between Friday and Sunday
morning.
This system should bring additional snow accumulations, possibly heavy, and may be accompanied by strong winds, leading to blowing and drifting snow. There is some potential for blizzard conditions with this system. At this time, Saturday afternoon into Saturday night is the period of greatest concern. Anyone with weekend plans should monitor this system closely.
Additional rounds of snow are possible early next week, as the active and cold weather pattern lingers.
